Title: "Becoming"

The wire-tap sill borders the painting of a fire cast still
Metal detectors never had a problem with my iron clad will
Until now, or maybe I had a conversion today
>From man to machine,
See for yourself when the steel curtain is raised
And the ceiling is dropped, I’m here wielding my thoughts
Salvation is my only objective, feeling is not
I try to reel-in the plot, using my die-cast heart
The story rejects my bait and the time-lapse starts
Every breath sounds so clean, in this alloy dream
Until I exhale violently, cuz the circuitry drowns voice streams
Becoming something else, through magnetically-charged birth
Beautiful electromolecules fusing this aesthetically spawned curse
Personality drained, originality’s a thing of the past
Religion’s true face, witness it missing its mask
The flame is doused, my thoughts become a lost design
But I can’t go on, alas, my mind’s no longer mine

Title: "Thorned Halo"

Deceit orbits truth and dilutes the clean space between
World apart, it hurls afar the faintest scream that taints the dream
The taste is clean, says the fork as a laud, while the Porcelain God
Flushes down the idealism once digested and stored in the heart
Malice storms the fields with iron masks, and torches purity
Against her will, a pregnant Mother Earth has her abortion nervously
And in quick succession, introspection leaves existence threatened
While the witless step in, blow a kiss to heaven and hold their fists and
weapons
The air sings oppression while wind and fire try to mute the sound
This battle is a performance, and staccato bloodshed moves the crowd
Life fights but loses ground, slowly but surely its face becomes empty
Demons bathe in the dead sea, Archangels pray in assembly
The heart showed its red before the dark horse was bred
Setting up a conflict that can only resolve when war roars its head
Cuz it’s dark in hell, but even darker under dogma’s spell
The result left God expelled, when the first thought rebelled
