He isn't the best rapper of all time.
But he is/was very good, and that album is a classic.

Probably get hate for this but I think people mistake greatest of all time with greatest at that time. Nowadays, sure there's better lyricists, better flowing, etc. but at that period of time he was fire, you can't deny that. I think it's a whole package kind of deal, his voice with his flow paired together are excellent. Just my opinion though.

void thats wrong. the greatest of all tiem is saidbecause him and pac did things with hip hop no one could. as will smith said one time he was off insome third world country where they didnt speak english and didnt hae any type of luxeries. yet on there walls of there brick building they had a big painting of pac on one n biggie on another. they influenced a world not just a country. they helped change the game n take hip hop a giant step ahead. they paved the way for dudes like jay z n etc. biggies life after death and ready to die albums is classic as fuck. if u can listen to ready to die n not hear the hunger in his verses ur fucking crazy . that shit was raw untapped talent and energy and he KILLED that album.

Best rapper during the best era of rap music sounds like a pretty convincing way to say 'of all time'. IMO

He had one really good album and a decent double album that could've been compacted into one album and made really good. Unfortunately he passed away before he made anymore albums. We can only formulate on how they would've been. But for the time being, he isn't the greatest of all time.

There is a difference between best and greatest.
While I don't think he is the best rapper, I can see why some see him as the greatest....which is taking into consideration all he did for the game and his influence on not just fans around the world, but other rappers who came after.

Pun was a beast though, he has an eternal place as one of the best ever in my mind.
His flow for the time was untouchable.

He was the first rapper with like all around charisma on the mic. Set the bar for that respect. Nobody swags it like Biggie did

see big l would never make my list. he didnt have a chance to come out and do anything big. granted he was talented and could of been a game changer. but with him dying so early i dont think he had the chance to put himself as the top 3 best. and i definatly dont think tupac was that great esp lyricaly but i can see why some people liked him being as though he claimed to be bout that life when he wasnt until way after he got famous rofl. anyways pac was the martin luther or malcolm x of hip hop imo so he got his status that way
big was just talented as shit lyrically, flow wise etc
