man American shows aren't funny to me. im sorry but New Girl changed that due to great writing, wonderful witticisms, and eyes that could melt butter. The League also is funny, but thats a less gay thread to make

Love/Hate is the best Irish series out if u wana peep the first episode. It's about the Irish gangland and crime. it got picked up by an American channel tho so they're making it again and Americanising it for the USA audience, thus it'll lose it's charm a la Shameless and The Inbetweeners

If you started from the beginning, that's your problem. The first season was awful, like a completely different show.

Also, the characters and inside jokes really build on themselves. The best thing to do would be hold your nose through the short (six-episode) Season 1, then enjoy it the rest of the way.
