hop hipsters have ruined beer lately

Frank Metts

Diode is right

Beer has turned into the music scene in the sense that the more obscurely named artist ( or beer ) you claim you drink the more cool I guess you think you feel.

I'm not too much of a drinker anymore but I've tried tons or beers and micro brews, been to many places that only serve and specialize in draught beers and you buy sampler platters of said obscure beers and this one ( name is slipping by my ATM) use to have a local ( and by local I mean something brewed in a basement ) night on Tuesdays were they would feature someone's creation from 6-8pm, usually giving samples free.

My favorite beer is still Sam Adams Cherry Wheat ... Sam just makes a good overall product, but their a place in white marsh called red brick station and they make and distribute their own product and their stout and this blueberry beer they had was amazing

I mainly drink - get ready to laugh- Coors Light these days

was all about Budweiser for years, switched to Bud Light and then made the horrible mistake of drinking Coors Light a few days in a row. it ruined me. now its pretty much all I drink

Corona still my favorite but I can only enjoy it in the summer

My last run with beer was pretty much coors light... Dudes can clown but an ice cold coors light is pretty refreshing

I wouldn't say I was a snob, but I was never a huge fan of dark beers or anything that tastes like a dark beer. I hate Blue Moon, personally. Yuengling, Miller, and Sam adams are okay..I prefer Bud Light/Budweiser and Corona. I also go for Natty light and PBR because I'm cheap. I rarely like house brews. I went to Du Claw once and tried every kind of beer they had, and they all tasted like ass. I'll never not finish them though...thats just wasteful

and Natty Boh's decent too. It's local though - I'm sure Frank knows

Du Claw is a good product. Full tilt is a great local brewery as well.

Boh is brewed in san francisco now tho. And other places besides bmore.

Yeah I've tried all the heavy seas. Gold ale is alright, the rest I'm not crazy about. But I'm obviously not the best judge

I tend to prefer Vodka and Whiskey for getting drunk. I prefer Beer tastes as differently as possible from those, because I consider it more recreational if that makes any sense

Joe Metts

Cannon is their best product to me.

They got a barley wine ale thats off the hook too tho.

Joe Metts

Mostly adults and some are also retarted not all are autistic.

But im not a snob lol just makes no sense to drink a beer that tastes like garbage when there's plenty of beers out that that taste incredible. That commercial with ice cube and models shouldn't be why people choose a product. I've tried 100's of beers. Disliked most. But the ones I found that i like were worth it.

no. hop forward beers have gotten out of control in this country. sierra nevada plans to abandon all of their stouts, porters, and ales in the next year. you have breweries putting out "christmas ales" with citrus hops in them. when i go to a tap, 75% of the list is some form of IPA.

it's horrendous. but the young 20s crowd are obsessed with hopping the shit out of everything and so it sells.. to the detriment of the entire industry.

I usually drink Pils. Idk what that is in English. But a Weizen (that's what it is in German) such as the Hofbräu is nice every once in a while. Generally, a Weizen is better with food, but a Pils is better alone.
