Both u have mentioned would not be shit without the players around them. Granted Chris Paul is a beast but cannot compare to d.rose as a player. I will not argue against the hurt all the time point cause those are facts I cannot dispute. I will say he is as close to a Jordan he bulls will ever get tho.

what i saw of Rose in the playoffs a couple years back.. i wasn't impressed. he was missing wide open lay ups. IN THE PLAYOFFS

Tony Parker can spread the ball to anyone on the floor creatively, or take the ball up and score on your biggest dudes by himself. he is clutch as fuck majority of the time and dude will score in any way possible

and CP3 is the most creative passer to watch and he makes everyone around him better. Lob City didn't exist until he got there, because Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan weren't shit till he was there either. they had Baron Davis, Eric Gordon before and once Chris Paul got there, it's a turned around team.
D-Rose and the Bulls are the most overrated team in the Eastern Conference. obviously they were never going to beat the Heat, their biggest threats are a dude who just shoots midrange shots aka BOOOOOO-sir, Hokim Noah aka only rebounds but disappears, and D-Rose aka the wannabe Jordan.
i like the Pacers now tbh, they have the best chance of being the Heat and actually getting a championship. Paul George about to make Danny Granger retire tho smh, he playing too good now

A torn meniscus is one of those injuries that affects everyone differently. Metta World Peace was back in two weeks last season from meniscus surgery. Russell Westbrook has looked pretty strong since returning from a meniscus tear. And a medial meniscus tear usually is less debilitating than a lateral meniscus tear.
Keep in mind, people thought Grant Hill's career was done. His issues were broader and worse. And he was able to play 544 games after turning 31 despite playing only 47 games total in the four seasons before.
Rose hadn't look like the 2010-11 NBA MVP this season even before last night. He was always bound to become more of a jump shooter, as he would have even if he hadn't had the injury because that's simply how players evolve. He may never make another All-Star Game. But I don't think his career is over.

no other player has like 3 "return" commercials every year even if the team depended on a person more than the bulls depended on d rose
and it wasn't for passing or assists, they just need a scorer. nate robinson took that role and ran with it and they dropped him thinking "king d rose the 3rd will bring us back to prominence by himself again" then this happens and they're looking for answers now
d rose himself is not as smart player as others, he's athletically gifted, sure. but when it comes to playing, i'd rather have a smart PG help the whole team score over a PG who can get himself open for a shot in like a 0.15 second window while the rest of the team struggles. he's not a passer like cp3 or rondo, kyrie irving is on the come up and a lot more entertaining to watch, tony parker playing like he's still married to eva longoria, ricky rubio look like a middle eastern steve nash, etc.
there's PGs better simply because they play smarter. everyone rode the Bulls sooooooo hard cause they hate lebron but lets be real, the bulls wouldn't have ever had a chance to beat the Heat with a healthy D Rose in the playoffs. the pacers surpassed the bulls in the east as the #2 team simply by being smarter, they let paul george shine and trained hibbert to be a great center. now look at them, they have a team full of dudes who can play together, chemistry. bulls are just a bunch of cats thrown together to look cohesive but arent.

That list was pretty fucked because Kobe was down at #25. Derrick Rose is one of the top PG's in the game, sucks that he got hurt again though.
