King Ra.
11-30-2013, 08:28 PM
I think the song is beast. But I officially co-sign this due to Malachi's stamp of approval.

Rap God is up there but I agree with destro

There's probably 4 to 6 better songs or equivalent songs imo

But the album itself is solid

Far better then then em's more recent lps

But that was also the majority of the boards opinion as well

Cashius
11-30-2013, 08:54 PM
I like the one with Kendrick. Game of Love or whatever.

Destroyer
11-30-2013, 08:56 PM
yeah, me too. it's very catchy and singly
but it's tight

Ghost1
11-30-2013, 08:58 PM
Wicked ways is my favorite guys

Certain

maybe

evil twin and the opener are up there
headlights is moving

maybe

I've listened four times now. I'd say:

1. "Bad Guy"
2. "Legacy"
3. "Love Game"
4. "Headlights"
5. "Evil Twin"
6. "Rap God"

There's a huge drop after those six.

Malachi
11-30-2013, 08:59 PM
why do yall like bad guy so much
lol..

Destroyer
11-30-2013, 08:59 PM

I also like rhyme or reason

Ghost1

The whole metaphor of stans little brother vs ems rap career was dope as fuck. Annd it plays on oir nostalgia with the actual sequel to stan.....then he explains it all in the end woth a crazy beat flip.....whats not to like?

Destroyer
11-30-2013, 09:02 PM
ITT we tell you why you actually do like the new eminem

Certain
11-30-2013, 09:08 PM
What Bags said. But we should keep in mind that Malachi didn't have his mind blown by "Stan" and listen to it over and over back in 2001.

Malachi
11-30-2013, 09:10 PM
i get all that
which what made me excited to go listen to it

but shits just
corny the way he raps it
smh

i was super dissapoint.

Rap God
Rhyme or Reason
love game
legacy

and a few more
are on point tho

Malachi

it's corny where he's rapping as Matthew

The entire song?

Cashius
11-30-2013, 09:20 PM
Naw, the last verse he's not...and be kills it.

Cashius
11-30-2013, 09:21 PM
...I think, right?

Certain
11-30-2013, 09:26 PM
My interpretation is Matthew Mitchell is not real the entire time, a manifestation of all the anxieties and skeletons from Eminem's past. In that sense, "Matthew Mitchell" still is rapping in the final verse.

I’m the future that’s here to show you what happens tomorrow
If you don’t stop after they call you the
Biggest laughing stock of rap who can’t call it quits
When it’s time to walk away, I’m every guilt trip

Cashius
11-30-2013, 09:28 PM
I'll buy that.

Destroyer
11-30-2013, 09:32 PM
yeah, neither Stan not Matthew are real just metaphorical characters representing ems insecurities and disillusionment with his fans

Ghost1
11-30-2013, 09:35 PM
An yea.....it matters when u heard it.

I tried to explain this to that stupid irish faggot keyrawn but he had the brain of a faggot and couldnt grasp onto things that are for people that think.

U have over 10years worth if music thats happened since to now compare it to that wasnt around when it dropped.

It takes away from how ill it was......

People think grandmaster flash was dope.....but im not 40 and ive listened to reasonable doubt....so that shit is trash to me.....but if it was out b4 that and i just heard it new.....itd been fire.

Do u get it !?!? Fuckin keyron ill fucking break that faggots jaw.

Certain

My example is N.W.A. I love Ice Cube and Dr. Dre as solo artists and love a lot of rap from 1988 (when I was turning 1) but never quite got the appeal of N.W.A. That's because the biggest appeal of N.W.A. was they sounded completely different from what most people had heard. In the context of what came after, there's no shock value anymore.

Bags Payne with u talking bout itt

I have never argued w u about em anything

Who is keyrawn

I think u alluding to someone else relating him to some personality traits u feel I possess while slighting me

Or it maybe more overt

Plz clarify and proceed in concluding with the more overt

alter egos have to be the whackest shit in rap

Ghost1
11-30-2013, 11:24 PM
Fortunately everything is not about u.

His name was Ciaran

An it was, according to him pronounced as keyrawn.

He was not a lying faggot who hit women and stole from others for sport. So there would be no comparisons necessary.

I can't take that chorus.

"Groundhog Day" isn't actually on the album, it's a bonus track on the second disk.

Once again Ryan has a post that consists of nothing but generic insults and a misguided belief that he is funny.

You really should try harder.
