i always laugh when i hear/read the word defense talking about CFB. i rarely ever see it when/if i do watch games. usually end up being like 45-42

the SEC game backs this up as well

uh-oh

word i havent been watching it but i just seen whats going down on espn

i thought mizz was gonna get em honestly i mean it aint over yet i dont think but word. i read some biased shit where they were downtalking auburn for barely winning some games and losing one and they were saying mizz only lost one in like triple overtime and blew everyone else out

seems like a crazy game tho

im probvably overconfident and michigan state is good enough to make it a game

i just smell blowout for the buckeyes

making a statement going into the title game

Lol that is true, but SEC does the have best defenses. Least they did. This is like the third SEC game I've watched all year and all of them have had like 30 plus points.

Should be good.. it'll be on in the backround.

I'm more about basketball this time of year.. usually my feelings for football drop right about now(late Nov/early Dec)

also lol @ whoever said they've never seen defense in CFB

bama/lsu 6-9 anyone?

Lol one game. Tell me like 89.56% of every CFB isn't a shootout, not counting the fcs vs fbs games

still, going, no where.

FSU just needs to stomp Duke, they will, and my BCS title match prediction will be spot on

actually i feel like clowning you, so here:

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2012/11/15/college-football-fbs-point-scoring-on-record-pace/1704623/

From 2012.

"The climb in scoring has been a trend since the 2007. season. Prior to that fall, the national scoring average had only twice climbed above 26.9 points a game since the NCAA began tracking the statistic in 1937."

This is an extremely recent trend, and even then, only up to 29 points a game. Hardly a 40-point shootout average.

trollhoio's secondary gets beat like a drum on those plays, safeties are always way too far up

Oh no, the game last week gave me enough to brag about.

tOSU let a Michigan team averaging less than 200 yds total offense a game for 3 games in a row tip 400 on them.

You owe Hoke a cookie for even being in this game right now.

Diode
12-07-2013, 09:14 PM
loling to death at miller running for his life

completely honest here

if this keeps up and sparty takes a big lead, that means you lose your #1 weapon in miller/hyde run game. you'd only have deep balls to devin smith's 4.00 40 running ass and the msu secondary is one of the few that can keep up with him.

tOSU is in a very bad place if msu gets 2 more scores.

Diode
12-07-2013, 09:27 PM
.. 1 more score.

SUP BRO'S

michigan state is garbage

osu is about to put up 35 in the second half and shut em outttttt

michigan state should never be allowed to hype there defense after allowing that fucking 40-60 yard pass or whatever it was in a prevent defense setting up the field goal

MSU is up word but not for long G

millers gonna ball outtttttt

uh-oh
12-07-2013, 10:00 PM
as soon as braxton miller realizes devin smith is badly beating corners and safeties in coverage its OVA

he's getting behind them on just about every play

but that bumass tebow offense takes too long for plays to develop and by the time millers looking downfield he has to get moving around and looking for check downs

i put it on the playcalling more than MSU's defense

but word, watch number 9 for the buckeyes on any passing play, he is doggin there secondary

kenny guiton would find him

PancakeBrah

AND CAN I GET A FUCK URBAN MEYER

PancakeBrah
12-07-2013, 11:57 PM
Well, at least we can all rest easy knowing Michigan will perpetually be mediocre.

Michigan State's legit, obviously. Meyer would not stop calling the read option on critical third downs even though MSU was blowing it up the whole second half.

"perpetually be mediocre" = a brady hoke go for it decision away from beating this team also

lololololololol

also meyer had no choice but read options, dennard was everywhere. who the hell was miller going to throw it to?

uh-oh
12-08-2013, 12:05 AM
im glad im not the only one who seen how terrible that play calling was

dennard made 1 good play, and that was on devin smiths deep ball, breaking up a TD. the only other play he made coverage wise was breaking up a pass to evan spencer, that spencer should have held onto.

i saw dudes running free alot, mostly in the first half

in the second half it was like all run tho except obvious passing downs

but word. disappointment.

i was hoping this loss would come from outside the big 10

Diode you do realize that saying "if x had happened, then y would've happened" is loser talk, right? Even if Michigan had won, which they didn't (no if's), they'd still be a mediocre team.

And no, the read option wasn't all they had. Because they didn't have it. That's the point. Meyer and the OC have to adjust. They didn't. Plain and simple.

Again, all respect to MSU. They were the better team.

How the hell are you going to call Michigan mediocre when they lost to tOSU by ONE. POINT.

what does that say about tOSU?

actually n/m, little brother just said it all.

Diode
12-08-2013, 12:14 AM
and if you want to say "historically.."

hoke already beat tOSU. in his FIRST. YEAR.

so either live in the past or the present. either way, michigan's not "mediocre" - they weren't great this year, but there were many reasons for that.

still the winningest program in NCAA history

still able to beat tOSU in recent memory

so either way.. either M isn't mediocre.. or tOSU is barely above mediocre

take your pick, dancake

PancakeBrah

Win's a win. Rivalry game.

If you want to say Michigan isn't mediocre....I don't know what to tell you broski.

I guess they're good? 7-5 is good. You win, I withdraw my argument.

uh-oh
12-08-2013, 12:15 AM
word that was terrible

i dont even know what to say right now. i took no glory and didnt really feel any pride when OSU was winning. been trying to get into college this year, thought i was failing at it cuz i felt no emotion.

but i realized in the last 3 minutes or so of this game, i cared. seeing them lose sucked

im gonna follow college from now on i guess.

where does that drop osu probably? they still get a bowl game right?

uh-oh
12-08-2013, 12:17 AM
and diode shut up lol. michigan was terrible

by your logic, akron is as good as ohio state, because michigan almost beat ohio state, and akron almost beat michigan

PancakeBrah
12-08-2013, 12:17 AM
Yeah they'll still be in BCS bowl most likely.

Now I'm rooting for FSU. Another SEC championship would be horrid. They could say they won the last 7 (?) BCS Championships. Most annoying fans in sport, and it's a whole conference. Kill me now.

no, actually, that is a standard issue logical fallacy

so. yeah. no.

my logic is the two teams played each other directly, which is the topic of discussion, and if michigan is mediocre, then a mediocre team came within a 2pt conversion of beating tOSU.
