I'm leaning toward m b v, Random Access Memories or Yeezus.

Modern Vampires of the City is top 10. I actually like Trouble Will Find You more, though.

TWFM is good. I listened to it quite a bit. Not sure where I place it in their canon, though.

I never listened to RAM. Never will, most likely. Don't know, never really gave a shit about them and the hooplah over their return just....whatever. I still need to listen to mbv. Yeezus is Top 10 but not album of the year. I have Modern Vampires #1 by a healthy margin. I wore that album out.

Trouble Will Find You is the first album by The National that I really connect with. Boxer and High Violet were really strong but a bit removed. Trouble Will Find You is stripped down a bit and lets the Devendorf brothers take the lead. High Violet was more the Dessner brothers' album.

As far as Daft Punk, it's worth noting that Random Access Memories is more disco and pop and much, much less techno and EDM.
