this is easily the best thing to come out all year. & It's a fucking mix tape. If you are a hip-hop artist releasing records I would feel really fucking ashamed right now.

uh-oh

its definately solid.

i don't like the dude tho, his mannerisms and extra shit/voice. but he's making good music if you can get past that.

He turns up the voice stuff on some tracks, like "Good Ass Intro." That put off a few people, I know, but once you get past that, it's great.

Took a minute to grow on me, voice-wise. After that the tape's mostly on my Smoke Music playlist along with a lot of MNIMN

Kicked off my shoes, tripped acid in the rain
Wore my jacket as a cape, and my umbrella as a cane
The richest man rocks the snatch-less necklace
Spineless bitches in backless dresses
Wore my feelings on my sleeveless
My weed seedless, my trees leafless
I miss my diagonal grilled cheeses
And back when Mike Jackson was still Jesus
Before I believed in not believing in
Yeah, I inhaled, who believed in me not breathing in
Cigarette stained smile all covered in sin

Well, I think you'd like him if he were a textcee. I don't actually know your taste in music.

This.

But

"I seen it happen, I seen it happen, I see it always
He still be screamin, I see his demons in empty hallways"

People who say he's not good lyrically are fucked. He's far and away the best lyricist out currently. Better than underground rapper #596 with the crazy schemes and shit. He just writes about his life and is relatable, with dope af flow and rhyming. With the occasional one-off song.

If you don't like Chance you're a moran.

He's good enough that the hyperbole isn't necessary.

He's not a lyricist in the traditional sense a lot of guys who rank Jadakiss among the best look for, but he's a real song writer. There aren't enough of those in rap, not these days and not ever, really.

he's heavily inspird by. michael jackson which i think u can kinda see in his performance mindset

Let's not get into semantics then. It's not hyperbole. I prefer his lyrics to every rapper making music right now. Not even close. It's a subjective determination anyway, so implying what I said is hyperbole is pretty insulting. He has complex schemes paired with meaning in what he says. It's not like saying 2 Chainz is the best lyricist alive.

OK, you make a fair point, and it is subjective.

I agree with the general premise. I think he's the best song writer in rap right now, with Kendrick Lamar a close second. I'd take Pusha T over both for a one-verse guest spot.
