I'm on episode 5 of the 4th season... & kicking myself for having slept on this series.

Character development is A+ tbh..

In my personal opinion it's #2 in currently running shows.. only Boardwalk Empire is better.

But yo, I look into all aspects of the characters & the plot/storyline.. & analyze every single bit of it as much as I can.. so to me, every little thing is interesting.

Season 2 is a key season for the series too.. I thought it was awesome.

im probably judging too early, but i feel like nothing happens. all the talking and 'developing' is fucking boring
if nothing else happens from where i'm at until season 3, this show fucking blows. right now its barely a 6/10

The character development is really mixed. They do a great job on Carl, for instance. But the only women who they developed with any credibility are Maggie and Carol. Lori and Andrea are unbearable.

And I don't like how the action always comes all at once. Season 2 was problematic for many reasons.

They developed Beth pretty good too tho.. she went from wanting to off herself to accepting what the reality is & going fwd. The whole "we don't get to be mad" thing shows her development imo.

Agreed Lori & Andrea are unbearable.. but Andrea is a huge piece in the story.

I dont know what it is I just never got into this. I hate coming into a series midway and then having to go back and watch everything over to catch up and watch it nonstop. Some of what I've seen is really good and other parts its like nothing is happening. I think I need to watch more to get it.

It's a show where u do have to watch all of it to get it, from the beginning.

They're doing a marathon on AMC for it, leading up to the 9th of Feb when they'll start airing the 2nd half of season 4. I know u said u hate having to watch nonstop.. but it might be worth it to u to do so.
