it needs to be reset back to normal values, then add rep titles for varying levels of pos/neg rep. everyone with green is just "beyond repute" and all the red just says the name. I'm sure we could all band together to make set of lolz +/-titles for the rep system, it wouldn't take much.

for newbs on the board it looks lazy/bad to have a half assed hack on the side that nobody uses/cares about.

i like the rep system

its definately broken on this site. i repped metts, and his shit went to 24022 in the positive. then i read others did it too, but it was red when i did it with a 0.

i then seen that lame alias captain obvious and negged that ho fag. his went red and 0.

but word it should only be a little bit at a time. if you have a full green bar it should be because your a BOSS

What's it for?

when someone makes a good post click the rep button, adds points to their rep bar. the more rep, the bigger the green bar grows / when you hover over it with the mouse a title displays. People with high rep titles = people with the best posts. Higher rep holders typically have higher rep power.. IE a rep from a guy with 100 rep will not put you as high a rep from someone with 100k rep.

and the same for negs, the more you get negged the larger the red bar grows. the lower into the negs you go, the more insulting your rep title gets. IE it could be something like "sadder than Rawn's little hand" or something.

Its not broken.....but when it started all the lame ass mods put their reps on 10million so when they repped or negged sum1 it either skyrocketed or drilled that persons rep.....and so on...


Just put every1 back to zero and take away the ability to alter it from cornball mods an admins who cant control themselves.
