Newcastle is a town in NSW, its kinda bush there compared to the capitals, its a good few hours North of Sydney.

Lol.

Well it is a minor city for a start so dont expect anything fancy.

It has beautiful beaches.

The people there are rednecks (bogans we call them) though and love to fight, it use to be known for alot of alcohol fueled violence but that seems to have calm down alot in recent years.

Not sure about anything else really, I have only been there once.

Where are you heading to once you leave Newcastle?

Well reasonable accomodation doesn't exist in Sydney mate, Id head up to Queensland, much cheaper there and better place (people, environment etc) although its alot hotter too.

What are your job skills?

There's already too many carpenters in melbourne, you'll struggle to find work here

Perth would be good

Nice weather, nice beaches, lot of travelers that go there for work

About 50% of my friends from highschool are currently working in Australia for a few years, lots of people from ireland end up in australia, I dunno why it's such a popular thing to do here but it does look like fun.

Having said that though, lots of Australians end up in Ireland so it's all fair, I think it's because we are a very similar people.

I never met a bad Irishman. Race of good people.
