I make stew in one of these all winter
get yourself two pounds of stew meat, chop up half an onion, and a few celery stalks. throw some carrots and potatoes in there too. cut them or don't. I don't give a fuck. add like a half cup flour, some Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, a diced garlic clove. I add a cup and a half of beef broth. mix all that shit. cook on low for eight hours.

If you like German food try this
Take 3-4 boneless pork chops raw and place them in the bottom
Dump in a large can of sauerkraut
cut a white onion into 8ths throw on top
Thinly slice up 2 apples and throw on top
pour in a little apple cider
let cook for about 8 hours
Serve it and top it with a spicy brown mustard...
Stinks like hell when it is cooking but it is fucking bomb

turkey wings
season them to your liking. I use emerald all purpose seasoning
season the turkey and let it chill for a while dry
layer the bottom of the pot with onions
put half water in the crock pot (how big is yours btw?) put it on slow and leave it overnight
