A Chipotle burrito (carnitas and chicken, with white rice, black beans, hot salsa, corn salsa and sour cream) if I'm paying. A rare-medium-rare filet mignon and lobster with garlic mashed potatoes and slightly overcooked asparagus if I'm ordering at a nice restaurant.
But if I could pick the exact restaurant and get a free meal, this Mexican place in Des Moines makes this incredible huachinango a la diabla. That's a whole red snapper including the head, fried and dressed to be extra spicy.
lucky charms drenched in fruit punch.

The best I've had was at Umberto's in New Hyde Park, right outside Queens. I grew up in Queens, though, and have several favorites there.

its the water i think in out there. cuz dough has water in it right? i dunno man. but something about it just makes it amazing. it doesnt make sense has to just be the water out there
you can get all the same ingredients but nothing is the same
the second best pizza i had was in columbus ohio, but it was different and still don't compare
you can't just buy a slice of pizza out here. i mean theres one restaurant that does it but its garbage.
i wanna slice YO. big. i wanna HAVE to fold it over, and when i fold it i want the crispy crust to crack, and mozzarella grease just run down my hands
i've never had a legit chicago pizza, but any deep dish pizza i have had is so pedestrian. it shouldnt even be called pizza its a completely different thing.

They have a place near me (in Maryland) that claims to be New York City-style pizza. And it looks exactly like it. And the cheese pulls and bubbles like it. Then you take one bite, and it's just not the same. The crust is crumbly and shitty and doesn't compare.
I'm a hard-core pizza snob. It's problematic living four hours from New York.

If you go to Umberto's, get the Sicilian (unless you really don't like Sicilian). That's not a knock on the regular. But the Sicilian is unbelievable.

I have had Umbertos pizza its awesome.
but the best Pizza is in either Manhattan or Brooklyn
and yes uh-oh
its the water here. I have heard of people shipping the water all over across the country to get real NY pizza but the cost gets ridiculous
that's also why we have the best bagels here.

That's probably true. There's a sentimental side to my Umberto's love. My dad would take me there when I would go to work with him in Bellerose, so it was like a special trip as a kid.
But it's still awesome, as you said.

american, my pops grandparents came to NY from italy tho

and word mike wrecka that makes sense. i figured the bagels were just dope cuz all the jews tho, but the same can be said for pizza with all the italians
its the water.i wonder how much you need
like i bet one of them office water gallon things is enough for 100 pizzas
i'll cop some NY water and make the pizza myself
import the water from NY and import the cheese from wisconsin lmao. probably better off getting everything from NY THO since it just owns everywhere in the world. its the worlds melting pot of dope food
