He'd been alone so long, the company was fine.
Although startled by the subtle ring he hadn't lost his mind.
His friends had come to pass the time between work and sleep,
and Will knew all to well they'd try and stay for weeks.
Work may keep him quiet one, and draw the line at two.
The night was cold and dark for only those who knew.
Opened eyes wide and gathered his mind with the air his nostrils drew.
Emotions weren't new, yet they seemed so alien.
Only felt fear when the world turned to blurry light burning with radiance.
Automatic responses were made after relaying these words with ease.
"We'll be entering turbulence ladies and gentleman, fasten your seat belts please."
The familiar ding dong rang it's tune and gave it's cue to Steve,
as he gripped the reins of his mighty steed.
His crash of consciousness affected the cockpit ominously,
As the copilot with closed eyelids lifted a gaze to object,"HONESTLY?"
"Will, you're holding your stick like your obsessed with it"
Just a gasp and a wink from an unthinking void of expression,
Unblinking and steady, Steve looked for a place to descend in.
Falling from grace with a tense grin he repeated one line to his captives,
"Enjoy the view folks five minutes to landing"
As his falcoln screamed toward the runway, than gently landed.
