True shit. Going to see them in a week or so
mobb deep shits on every other duo or group. hands down.
Lmao youre a bold man
uh-oh

i mean when i said group i was trying to think of groups and couldnt but now a bunch are coming to mind, wu, DIPSET, coc, etc.
but mobb deep is easily the best duo
but you said duo i thought?
lets lean towards duo, and give it a label concerning type of rap... we will call them the best gangsta/hood rap duo. sound better?
arguably the best anyway. im sure there are others in that area.... but those fucking havoc beats are unfuckwitable by far. so goddamn gutter yo. love that shit
The fuck at that "im a faggot - kyzo" tag?
Random or someone is thinking of me
So sad

Method man and redman ... I don't think Mobb has an album as good as blackout
But hell on earth is an amazing cd .. I think the infamous has some amazing songs but overall is overrated

Santana :)
Wayne :(
nah, mobb deep has..
the infamous
hell on earth
murda muzik
those are my top 3 mobb deep albums
i already was thinking black star as > duo... thats why i summed it up into hood/gangsta content.. wich definitely puts mobb deep up top
redman and meth are ok.... redman shines out of the two imho, meth got that flow and a couple ok lines though here and there
but whos really fucking with havoc and prodigy on that street gutter shit and one of the 2 in the duo makes the beats though?
nobody man
Frank Metts

Infamous was good but it wasn't classic ... Murda muzik has some real bangers but lil Kim did have the best verse and flow on the whole cd , still a good album
Redman and meth will always be the top duo to me... Fun, street, gutter, party all mixed around in one big pot
And no one fucking with mos and Talib on some lyrical shit unless you want to count jay and Kanye as a duo ??
well.... saying jay and kanye is taking it somewhere else... but they aint fucking with mos and kweli though, even if we did consider them a duo
just noticed you said gutter shit, which removes outkast. Clipse is in the running though
But I'm already anticipating a well formulated uh oh argument for why it's not outkast
Or oats will just clarify things for me
that too
fig. goddamnit, did you not see what oatmeal just said (outkast) is not gutter, doesnt have to be an epic explanation. its pretty much been explained already
outkast gotta be top 2 duos all time, only backstar is acceptable in front of them (but I'm also personally biased). but they don't make gutter music. they are lyrically and sonically diverse and eclectic, part of their greatness.
Clipse though I think has a better album than anything from Mobb Deep in Hell Hath No Fury.

hell hath no fury?
how old is that album, cant say ive ever honestly listened to a clipse album. was never a fan until recently i started listening to pusha t and now i would listen so i may cop that joint if its dope.
should link a couple tracks from the album in here off youtube?
would apreciate it if you could oats
tags in here are jive wack tbh Kyzo

are they not a duo?

Yeah clipse for Mobb on everything ... My only complaint is they say the same shit over and over and both do a decent job of making that same shit sound different but clipse are better at it
Outkast is def a dope duo with a thick catalog of greatness, can't deny that and they are in some ways a little gutter at times
I don't care about gutter anymore
I mean technically rae and ghost were a duo on only built for Cuban linx

mobb deep>everybody
outkast is the obvious second place
no other duo comes close to them.
i base it off of who has the most dope songs, and mobb deep does hands down.
tags in here are jive wack tbh Kyzo
just saying
I didnt put a single tag in this thread
Some fagg0ts use other ppls names and shit is pathetic

and yo geno, if you break it up into subgenres, for street/hood shit MOP is the best duo. the best duo overall is mobb deep.
the only legitmate argument is outkast, and it comes down to preference
i prefer east coast shit
outkast has some really dope shit, but they also have some shit i'd rather kill myself then listen to. mobb deep never made anything outright wack like outkast did
but again its all preference. i started this troll argument last night so i could post like 30 mobb deep tracks that are flawless, and then get some outkast fanboy to post as many outkast songs, and then everyone would see that outkast isnt as consistent and they're too out there/experimental
i just never really liked them personally
but yea you guys are fools for mentioning anyone else lol
i mean ugk is cool, i actually like 8ball and mjg alot. blackstar is on some other shit, etc. but gtfo with pete rock and cl smooth eric b and rakim and etc lol. cmonson gtfo. doesnt change the fact that rakim is the god emcee or troy is the best hip hop song of all time, but cmonson wtf
Gangstarr >>>
Only cuz Premo da fucking gawd

yea but guru was boring as fuck

No.
If it would have been royce and budden then their sells would have plummet, not a diss at budden. Em has way more fans that will religiously buy his album no matter what.

Im talking from a fan standpoint....
From royce perspective....sure....he could use ems name to get sales...
Em....however didnt need royce for shit an came out lookin like a scrub...
Royce was more interesting to listen to on that album for sure. I thought they bounced off each other nicely though.

I got ya Bags and i agree with oats. They transitioned off each other flawlessly. I personally prefer royce over em.
Don't know what song it was but Royce said something like..
ill put sugar in your gas tank and a banana in your tail pipe...so the car match the driver..
That shit still makes me laugh till this day

Come on open your ears and actually listen unbiasedly
That album was made for Royce to shine but to say em slacked off ... Like, really?
No Royce kept pace with em, that's it, that's all
Em did his damn thing on that whole album, carried the same rhyme scemes for whole verses , had crazy metaphors rhyme scemes and puns that are easy to miss when your just listening to say you heard another subpar em verse
Bad meets evil will forever be my favorite duo but I was trying to leave my stanurism out of this
That royce qoute is off joe budden mood music4
