Do we really need a Cypher section?

New users, and people new to text seem to really like it to get into the swing of shit.. and if some veterans posted up once and a while, they could see how it "should" be done.

Having a fucking "cypher" section.. that no one uses stifles the sites growth, and makes it harder for new(er) members to actually get any enjoyment off of the site.

I liked when it was stickied in the OM, but the BA would work to... Hell, even the disc. board could use it at this point.... but just my 2 cents.

You claim cypher section stifles productivity, but I fail to see how that is possibly true. Any post in that section is a post that would otherwise not have existed. I don't get the problem....they are in use and they are liked, cyphers are the norm in all hip hop related forums, I don't use them much because it isn't really my thing but I think they are a good idea.

Just don't go in to them if you don't like them...it's just a place to fuck around with some rhymes in spare time, nothing serious...even if only a few people were using them, why get rid of it? It doesn't take anything away from the site.
