My honest opinion is no.

I think the news and what is taught in schools
Are examples of what they wnat u to know.

The real truth about it all is hidden.

Where does this go?
I mean if you find that your being brainwashed, fed info...
So okay, now what?
Whats the next step?

first we establish in regards to popular opinion or majority rule if we infact believe our domestic news agencies are reliable or non reliable. Then we can go from there

Are we gonna overthrow the upperclasses?

I just mean what are you gonna even do with evidence in
a world which just flat faced denies it to ya face?

half the world in sitting in their tv chairs saying "what really happened
with 9-11? Who really killed JFK? No answers arrive..

@ Bags, it's a simple question I was interested in knowing what others opinions were. If it's that hard to answer the question and blatantly sidestep it to put more energy into attacking the person asking it, must mean you feel a type of way about the answer.

@ Dystopian, jesus you too? lol yay or nay answer the question, I didn't even say what my answer was sheesh

I ask a simple fucking question, thats how you know you go along to get along ass niggas got your feathers ruffled because someone is tryna fuck up your day to day program of bullshit with what..........a simple fucking question ? lol

you're dumb as shit dude and just because I stop and ask a question doesn't mean I don't enjoy my life.

EDIT: thats the mentality of the go along to get along person, "why do you ask questions, why can't you just let things be" fuck you I'm an independant intellect, my curiousity doesn't get thwarted because of the social insecurity complex some of you fuckers suffer from called majority opinion. If I'm curious, guess what I'm gonna fucking ask. Deal with it or don't nigga

Its a fact that certain things are not taught.

And certain things are not reported.

Example

Couple years a white girl about 14 went missing for a couple months.
Long story short they found her ..made a huge fuckimg deal about it
News coverage up the wazu...all because the stupid cracker decided
To side with her kidnappers...

Around the same time a 4 year old black girl went missing.
Escaped her captured..call tge cops and was homr in a couple days
After being kidnapped...

No news coverage at all...at all.

The news is bias..information is controlled.

Exactly Split. Everyone's got an agenda everywhere. I take all information I see, hear, or read and make my own opinion on it.

Chyeahhh!!!
04-29-2013, 01:39 PM
oh thats what Split meant? lol I read it the wrong way

@ innovator, reminds me of a Dave Chappelle standup, Elizabeth Smart but I'm talking about reliability, meaning you can count on it, it's true, etc. There are many things that get left unreported no doubt, some on purpose but I'm talking from the aspect of reliability.

Well the news is suppose to give you the truth..reporters ae meant
To report thw truth as it reveals itself.

So if something s arent taught and some things arw not reported.
Then the news isnt reliable at all.

Chyeahhh!!!
04-29-2013, 01:44 PM
I know, I mean it's nothing against you great foreigners if you want to answer, but I was speaking to us in the U.S. What country are you in Dystopian? and any other board members on here from there that wanna answer based on where you live feel free.

lmfao don't get riled son. tenses are tenses. discussions are discussions.

I believe you can get an accurate view of the domestic situation by looking at multiple domestic news sources, beginning with first hand sources such as individual journalists, going up to local news sources, going up to news aggragates such as Daily Beast, including opinionated news sources such as CNN and Fox etc

I think that "what the media wants you to know" doesn't exist. I believe that the particular facts brought to light and opinions cast on a story (biases) can be compensated for by viewing multiple biased views on the same story. much like scientific observation, you cannot directly observe phenomena as someone in society, you can only measure it to within a certain degree of certainty. that degree of certainty is less like standard error and more like probability, you think something will happen within a certain range but theres always the chance it'll lie outside of that too

basically, i think there is abundant variety and quantity of domestic news to call our news reliable, you just have to discern it

Chyeahhh!!!

yo I agree and disagree. The reporters report the news as it is given to them, they don't have time to make judgemental or personal remarks on what they're reporting on, they don't even have time to see if it's true or not

Dystopian I honestly don't understand what you're even talking about lol.
But yes reporters report whatever they're assigned to report. Sport writers write about sports, political writers write about politics, etc. What they write is their first hand account and opinions and these papers get sent to an editor and judged. To be honest they have to write what the editor wants if they want to keep a job. That's why you gotta do what Split says take different reports from different sources and compare them. It's the only reliable way to get information anymore.

After seeing how misinformed an article is in a newspaper, you flip the page and continue reading as if the rest can be trusted. What is this called?
