it's fuckin ridiculous...that's what I make of it...still don't see how the espionage act makes it illegal to call on the nuremberg laws but smh either way...
Author was way too shitty of a writer for me to labor through it.

"Draconian"...
funny that that word was brought up on this article. That was/is gonna be the title of my next OM piece.
anyway, as far as this article goes, once again, just another example of the elites being up to their usual FUCKERY.

lol he won the Pulitzer prize, bra.
Wow, that's shocking. For that article? I found it pretty scatter brained and uncompelling. Though, the Pulitzer for journalism generally is not awarded for the best writer (see: Thomas Friedman).

Chris Hedges, a senior fellow at The Nation Institute, spent nearly two decades as a foreign correspondent in Central America, the Middle East, Africa and the Balkans. He was part of The New York Times team that won the 2002 Pulitzer Prize for the paper's coverage of global terrorism and received the 2002 Amnesty International Global Award for Human Rights Journalism. He is the author of the bestselling War Is a Force That Gives Us Meaning (2003); his most recent book is Death of the Liberal Class (Nation Books, 2010).
^^
Yeah I looked that up right after I posted. I'll give that article a try, but as I said, Pulitzer for journalism typically doesn't celebrate good writing so much as good research.

That is true, and point taken. He makes good points though IMO. And he is a worthy adversary to the NDAA.
On a second read, it's just that first paragraph that's a little clunky, starts to smooth out and make much more sense as you go along. My impatience got the best of me! Carry on.

Ah yes my colleagues and I have peer reviewed this article in question. We are at a point of debate concerning the accuracy of the claims. Paging Dr. Rawnowld Macdonyall for further insight in this area of his expertise. Also requesting the opinion of Dr. Namix, we require at least 3 consecutive 500 plus word posts regarding the philosophical and metaphysical duality of this article.

I thought this was about the NSA dude. They had a rally for Bradley Manning here last week in front of the base. It was pretty pathetic.

haha, its funny cuz its true -- even at my expense lol. Definitely ignore the art of brevity on my end far too often.
In my professional opinion:
- I am glad you brought up the duality of this, because it may be easy to overlook. Sometimes whistleblowers are trying to be altruistic, but the duality to consider is the fact that: the best way to undermine 'altruistic whistleblowers' is to allow information to be leaked DELIBERATELY at times --- ordo ab chao yo.
Flood society with half-truths so it is harder to discern what's legit and what isn't, who's altruistic and who's just playing into the design. Then use the fact that the information available to us is a bunch of half-truths, and give a 'name' to the releasers of the information and believers of the information which is derogatory, to discredit them both (whistleblowers and conspiracy theorists).
There is my somewhat briefer synopsis of how, yes even this, echos the dualistic principles of the universe which are well known by world leaders in order to manipulate and control the masses. :)
i still haven't read anything about this specifically, but someone called me yesterday to ask about it lol. I don't watch news - but i can say that tracking personal information and aggregating the data is nothing new - it's just more effective with our technological advancements. Whether it is good or bad depends who does what with it --- in my industry, you're going to get banner advertisements eitherway, we might as well make them a bit more relevant to you based on the sites you've been to and the demographic you are in based on all of your social network information we accumulate :)

Very true - I am sure all in my industry would agree with that statement too

tbh its to early to read that right now...but ever since the patriot act has been inacted i feel the constitution is pretty much to those in powers whim to do what they plz with...i mean its always been, and was wrote to be, openly interpreted, but now i feel they've empowered the ppl who don't need the power the ultimate say...basically the checks outweight the balances...but ill read later...just my take on the title, first few sentences, and aforementioned comments.

alright i read it.
tbh i havn't been following the 'trial'...in fact idk if its a 'congressional hearing,' 'court martial,' or 'criminal trial?' Which all pose diff limitations as to what and how evidence is presented...but to ignore prior 'war precidents' like neuremburg n geneva is totally absurd no matter what type of court imo...but i agree with the article for the most part, they are prosecuting the wrong person/people, for all the wrong reasons...but intent rarely matters (cept w murder cases) in court... and bc the repercussions of said act could be so extreme its easy to place him as a scapegoat to advert public attention to other attrocities of war, and stiffle other 'whistle-blowers.' I stand by my previous quick summation/predicition though..the CHECKS outweigh the BALANCES, now a days. Moreover, that 'espionage act' can lead to a further direct intrusion into privacy...but tbh i figured they been doin sht like that for yrs...with like 'flag words' and stuff...that line btw privacy/protection just keeps gettin thinner tho.. namix...the use of propaganda, misinformation, and disinformation is and always has been crucial in war...Hitler understood that, which is how he rallied up so many, so fast...'if you tell a lie big enough, frequently enough, it will be believed...he who owns the youth, owns the future'...propaganda has a direct impact on mass public perception...which in turn affects outlook toward the gov't...so just thru the control of information, you can basically turn something thats a blantent lie into a widespread truth to those who percieve it as real...

word up
and Hitler adopted his approach from the same esoteric philosophies which the controlling class utilize today.
They enhanced their ability to, as you said, 'own the youth to own the future', by applying those same principles to "their leverage model of control" -- which is what Hitler didn't do....
Figureheads make for an easy target, but by being a puppet master who controls puppets who are puppet masters to other puppets themselves --- they sacrifice their 'ego today' for more control tomorrow. Patience is a virtue that can be utilized for vice --- by slowly manipulating society through pop-culture for decades vs. through "motivational rallys" over a couple years, the youth literally finds themselves forming the ideas which they believe are their own....
In the end, this kinda shit isn't even conspiracy theory or something -- more like the most logical and effective way to develop a self-sustaining system of control.
