Historical topics. Different time periods phrased as 2 words - E.g., "Industrial Revolution," "Agricultural Revolution," "Bronze Age," "Hellenistic Civilization."

Occupational topics. Different jobs phrased as 1 word - E.g., "Pilot," "Builder," "Athlete," "Journalist," "Farmer."

Emotive topics. Different emotions phrased as 1 word - E.g., "Rage," "Surprise," "Apathy," "Confusion," "Calmness."

Short phrase and question topics. Phrased in 2 parts a short phrase + yes/no question - E.g., "Luck is more important than skill. Do you agree or disagree?" - "A company has announced they will build a large factory in your hometown. Do you support or oppose?" - "Attending a live concert is more fun than watching the same concert on TV or on Radio. Do you agree or disagree?" - "Some people like to live in places where the weather is the same all year round, others like to live in places where the weather is variable. Which do you prefer?"

Quote list topics: 3 different quotes all with the same theme. E.g., "1)There are two kinds of people, those who do the work and those who take the credit. Try to be in the first group - Indira Gandhi. 2) I find capitalism repugnant. It is filthy, it is gross, it is alienating... because it causes war, hypocrisy and competition - Fidel Castro. 3) Live daringly, boldly, fearlessly. Taste the relish to be found in having put forth the best within you - Henry J. Kaiser. The theme for these 3 is perhaps "competition" (but don't write the theme out in the stimulus leave it open for interpretation).

Editing additional topics: Realistic pictures - pictures with some realism element rather than fantasy (can be just a picture of a common object or location etc).

Revisiting the SPLIT topic week/debate topics: E.g., **** VS ****
