Guy and his wife or girl or whatever were eyeballing my deadlifts. Overheard their convo between reps. She asked him how much weight that was, and he was like.. "a lot. that's all i know." Then he was going on about how he wanted to look like da god (younger guy, maybe early 20s, but bout 135lb I'd guess).. and she was all, why do you want to look like him. Does it make you feel powerful? And he starts talkin bout how nobody fucks with dudes that size and yeah it'd make him feel good about himself. Then she was eyeing me some more and he got mad and made her do extra ab crunches. Hahaha.
Bags how is your progress? I actually fucked up my neck real bad in jiu jitsu and have been out of everything for a week and a half. Probably going to regret this in the morning.

Kinda in a weird place right now
I started doin cardio ab9ut everyday..... so my squat dropped down to about 225-240 or so....but my deadlift is still progressing at 350 currently... i want to start texas method but im eating under maintenence and doing daily cardio ....but i dont wanna switch to a bodybuilding program....so idk wtf im doin

how much time do you spend on cardio that it affected your lifts?

30 min on lifting days and 60 on off days
My programming needs updated too....at one point i decided i wanted to deadlift 3 times a week along with squats 3x a week
So that an the cardio i think have affected my squats
Plus i was eating like a horse in winter bit ive cutback aloooot

My left elbow is fucking up.
Hasn't stopped me from lifting at all. I just cut out accessory bench/press work. Which is less than optimal.
Have been doing higher rep work for the past month or so. It's enjoyable. Still start every session with 3x5 of a compound (no deadlifts).
Trying to cut the fat brought on by alcoholic-phase Cake. Also trying to get back to my old pull up numbers. Personal best was 23 dead hang currently sitting at about 14.

So im at a different gym last night (mine is a chain of gyms) and it was prime time, 6pm. So all the young 20 something gym rats are there with their snapbacks and golds gyms singlets hanging low. I am wearing the nutrition warehouse singlet, it hangs low enough to show my vascularity and definition, but not too low that you cansee my nipples and i look like a douche. Its arms day, the most important day (as you all know). Being new to the branch all the guys are checking me out, seeing how im going to approach the workout. First exercise bicep curls with 50 llb plates on each side of the bar superset with overhead dumbell tricep extensions 110 llb. 3 sets 10 reps of both. Part 1/4 completed. Needless to say i shocked their fragile minds into submission because no one would make eye contact after that and when passing by they would apologise. Thats right fuckstick, you apologise whilst walking past my vacinity of dominance. I mired the fear into those pussys.

You just don't have the genetics. Your body is like melted silly putty draped over a stapler. You'll never see your abs, the cardio is a waste you need to do more lifting with smaller weights to get tonnage.

'MIRE STORY #1:
so i was playing basketball for cardio for awhile a year or so back. in my ymca the hoops were in the attic (lol poverty rabbi engineer of peace). sweaty shit nigga. anyways. i was working in a lumber yard so i worked weird hours. i was there one day, hoopin. just practicing my j. sick. then this group of 5 indian/pakistani kids come in. lol wrong place wrong time habeebs. they ask me to play ball. because of course they did. im a baller. so we start playing and im ruthless in the post. just backing whichever quandahar was unlucky enough to be matched up with this 5'10 1/4 david fucking robinson. swear to god had 6 of our teams 15 points bros. i mean, the hakeems were probably 7-8th graders. but that's neither here nor there.
so after the hall of fame performance i put on we all were just shooting around. you know, me and 8th grade indian kids. i hear one of the aziz's tell the other "that's a big dude". then one muhammid asked me how much i bench. i looked at him dead in his soulless arab eyes and said "2 plates for reps"
they seemed mildly impressed.
