Apparently they are expecting dissident republican terrorists to attempt to bomb the town...such a genuinely stupid place to hold it.

your country deserves a pat on the back. It's the only country in the world. that doesn't have a Rothschild bank and is not currently at odds or engaged in conflict with the U.S. They said fuck it lets go bankrupt and start over. I can dig it

The Irish Republican Army, Southern terrorists who want the North to be part of the Republic. The UVF and UDA are the Northern Terrorists who want to stay under British Rule...and they're all idiots tbh.

I would support a united Ireland though.

ya i figured it was south...my understanding , and i may very well b wrong (and i kno this is very basic, as well) the major schism between n n s ireland is religion based...or at least was. N being catholic n S being Protestant (thats at least my understanding from the 90's)--- (thats also how i deduced my above remark)

Ehhh, its more about politics than religion, religion is just something that got dragged into it because one half was protestant and the other was Catholics, it was never originally a religious matter though, Britain invaded and settled, and though they eventually (after many many years of rape, murder, and torture of men women and kids) they gave most of the land back, apart from the North which stayed British, and they've been fighting for it ever since. Pretty much turned the north into a warzone for a few decades.

North is protestant and South is Catholic BTW

lol i had it backwards...but word usually thats how it is..religion is usually the cloak over the fire.
