What job?

PancakeBrah
06-14-2013, 11:30 PM
Apprentice Real Estate Appraiser at a bank here in Fargo. Beat out people with degrees. Interview skills on point.

Have to complete my degree by May 2015 which shouldn't be a problem. Shitload of training and on-site experience to do and whatnot. But it's worth not working a shit job.

So you go to peoples houses and get to tell them everything they've built their life around is of little to no value

Sounds ideal actually

You start Monday?

Lol @ two weeks

I stopped showing up to my last job. I assume they found out

Then again grocery stores employ a small army of practically underage labor. Like a coal mine, except the coal argues with you about the weekly deal on pears

Earlier tonight me and some friends split a quad with these girls from FSU. Walked to the relay for life

I havent smoked since like two months before finals so I was feeling introspective

Tried to ask 'do you believe in life after death' to this one girl who sat down next to me on the bleachers

Only managed 'do you belief in death?' after a pause

Her "my dad just died"

Put an arm around her. Pulled number when we went back to our cars

So question: given that her dad is yknow dead, and I have no idea how long ago and didn't ask, how the fuck long do I wait before hitting her up to do something

I mean we did just smoke weed so idk

She's a cute light skinned black girl, probably one of like 7 in my town

Why wait? Go get you some tonight! She's probably looking for someone to "listen" to her and be a "good friend".

I don't mind doing either of those for 1 night. She can't be that prude if she's already getting lifted, B

My father is a real estate appraiser. Up and down work. Always either too much to handle or not enough and your semi broke for a month or 2. It's a pretty easy job though, 'grats cake.

yeah you cant really beat that at all. the experience itself is worth it imo

plus since you will be doing it while your getting a diploma for it you can see how much of the school stuff is bullshit and how much is legit lol

my job is the shit yo

i get paid "hourly" but we dont even punch in or out. just show up around 8. leave around 5.

a real job tho. LABOR NIGGA. sanding and taping now. 10 an hour. which is BOSS MONEY FOR ME YO. but the dopest part is there is only like 7 dudes working where im working, and they're training me everywhere. i worked at maaco before, but i was strictly sanding. all the bodywork was done on them. i'd just sand shit down and clean it up so it could be taped and painted. but now im doing a little bodywork, and im also taping. so while doing bodywork im learning from a 30 yr vet bodyman, and while im taping i'm learning from a 20 year vet painter

so i can go both ways no homo

the one dude scott who works there does bodywork and gets paid hourly. so he gets paid by the job, and hourly basically. like if he fixes a fender he gets paid the labor on that, plus the hours he worked on it. caking.

on the other hand the painter is getting crazy money just painting

so word one way or the other is what im working towards. and right now i make enough to support myself. so im happy.

SO PROPS CAKE. you're job sounds terrible to me, but im a get dirty work with my hands type hooligan.
