The Fountain, one of my favourite films. Although it is only disliked by majority because people do not take the time to understand it.

Its just a slasher

slashers arent really suppose to scare anyone like give them nightmares imo

its more built on suspense of what will happen

and surprises

yes tho

always some comedy in them imo

It was too artsy and CGI-ish to me, like that element of the film was supposed to make it so fantastic and poetic. I wasn't feeling it in that respect. The imagery was overdrive.

On first watch I understand how you come to that conclusion (dont mean that in an undermining way) but whilst I think it does maintain some of those elements I dont think that it was too much, it complimented the meaning to the film and the characters IMO. For me though the score was my favourite by Clint Mansell. This remains my favourite album to date, so much that I will write it into my will.

I know a lot of people who didn't like Book of Eli but I thought that shit was dope
I know a few people who didn't like Bronson which again I thought was dope
Donnie Darko has to be liked because its a cult classic but I never met anyone (maybe 2 people) who liked it


Freakshow was another I enjoyed genuinely hated by most who have seen it...

everyone seems to think star wars ep 1 was bad but i liked it more than ep 3, but not 2

Silent Hill. Most people I talk to thought it was bad. It's my fav horror movie. Intricate storyline/plot with a shitload of metaphores and symbolism if you look into it. I like that.
