Looks dank. Only problem I've ever encountered with shredded meat of any sort is that it can be a tad on the dry side if not done correctly. But this looks great. If you truly want the god status, cook your next batch Hawaiian style by digging a hole in the ground and heating it on a bed of hot rocks. Sounds weird but tastes divine.

had a 10% off coupon for lowes so only 270. they go for 300 and never go on sale. weber's strict on their pricing like that.

that night? yeah. it was 2am.
last night we had the in laws over.. along with the pork we had scallops and shrimp wrapped in bacon, fried onion strings, corn on the cob, tomato and cucumber salad from their garden, banana pudding.. the works.

any asshole who puts sauce on the meat before serving it doesn't know how to cook, is an asshole, or is hiding the fact that their meat sucks.
and no, it doesn't do anything to the flavor profile of something like pulled pork to slather it on during cooking. it does nothing. nothing will penetrate the meat except salt, which is why you don't marinate it or even waste your time/money on brining it.

applewood chunks for pork. chips burn too hot/quick but i have used them in a pinch.

Knucklehead, even in a crockpot, you're ruining the meat by putting the sauce on early. You should apply a dry rub that will allow the "skin" (which isn't skin) to get some flavor. But otherwise let that shit cook down in its own fats and a little water. Then rip it apart. And don't even store it with sauce on. Sauce it only when hot and about to be eaten.
