Rand Paul Meets Privately with Mark Zuckerberg

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) reportedly had a private meeting with Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg in Sun Valley, Idaho, at an exclusive technology conference. Politico reported that Paul had “private sit-downs” with libertarian investor Peter Thiel and Zuckerberg at the annual Allen & Co. gathering. Zuckerberg has spent millions trying to get Congress to pass comprehensive amnesty legislation that would include an increase in the number of high-tech visas that he and the high-tech industry covet.
