You will be GRANTED ONE EXTENSION throughout the Tourney. Any extension beyond the first will result in loss of votes.

Nice battle. I have the battle scored 4-4. Best I've read this round so far. LOTB went to MS for an hilarious opener. Both of the bars I omitted from each verse came 3 bars in, so they both didn't suffer from any loss of momentum. Consistency was equal. I think MS gets another LOTB for the Defiant bar. That was clever. Alvins Mentos and THOT's lines could be consider lotb material, too. Really close. Alvin's read smoother, was more condensed and formulaic. MS, while Alvin's was dope, was funnier to me and the payoff in each of his quotables was more impactful. Not to say Alvin's wasn't.

I think I'll go with MS here. Great battle, guys.

Defiant's top punches was weak, IMO. I've seen that concept used a lot, and even tho it's something that took place recently, the concept has been done many many times. I didn't like the Corey'd scream PUN either. Felt as if it was missing something.

Karp,

Opened up for a crowd is basically on the same level as sho's Digits/Numbers concept. Needs work came off stale too me and the same w/ Fuck w/ a John Daly. Just didn't like them.

OVERALL: Pretty cool battle, felt like sho's quotes were really effective and his misses weren't as bad as Karps.

murda sho: The opener is line of the round from what I've read so far. That was terrific, a mix of clever and personal while also being worded well. Other than that, you didn't have anything particularly great. Defiant's punches line was good enough to be a second hit. The Kin line was worded for minimum impact, and the Bacardi (why can't people spell that correctly?) and Boy Meets World lines were wordplay stretches.

Alvin Karpis: This easily is the worst verse I've seen from you. The Mentos line was somewhere between clever and stretched. The THOT and crowd lines were pretty good as fillers, but the back half of the verse really didn't do it for me. John Daly has wordplay potential, but you didn't set it up well at all. And Jon Taffer was a little too directly obvious. Moreover, there was nothing personal about this verse (be it direct disses or nameplays) after the opener.
