Been curling these dumbbells and am at the point where these 50 pounds are pretty easy so I'm like I should start doing push-ups more often to get my chest a lil strong and all that shit. I was only able to do 10 before I needed a rest!!!! Wtf??? Granted I'm 6'2 250 and know it's more weight I'm still disappointed. Help me understand what the hell going on. I have no weight bench tho I wish I did, the only thing I have is these dumbbells and my own body weight. Is there a way to get my strength up more with just these tools? Troll to a minimum but of course I expect it.....fuck u seyance!!!!!

I did 110 the first time and had a good pump. Most the time when im just doing them because i'll get to 60 or 70 before stopping, but I definitely do them more often. Do crunches and shit the same way.
Still should bench. I need to quit fucking around and get a curl bar.

he misspelled burpee and it's actually a decent body weight exercise. if combined with a pushup and pullup. I do 100 pushups straight. get on it.

I'm training for a race so Ive been neglecting free weights. Been doing bodyweight shit in between runs and every other Saturday is a speed workout
Do two sets each of squats, pushups, dips, lunges, bicycles, and planks for this # reps in a circuit
Mon: 20
Wednesday: 25
Thursday: 30
Saturday: 35
then the following week, bump up your Monday by 5 reps and do the same progession
When you plateau, take it back down to 20 but for 3 sets.
Idk it's been working for me

If you're not going to invest in a gym membership or a home gym then what Bags said was pretty on point.
Pull ups/Push ups/Dips
You can do curls with the dumbbells. Although you'll get more out of pullups than curls at this point. You may not be able to do a pullup at your current weight and level of fitness?
What Bags is referring to (DB Bench off the floor) is a floor press. If you don't have a bench, or a substitute, then okay. It works the lockout portion of the bench press and has less ROM, obviously, but it's better than nothing.
You can do Tate Presses or DB Skullcrushers. Pullovers, too.
Goblet Squats and maybe DB Deadlifts (you won't get much out of these with the weights you have now). Lunges and Farmer Walks.
But yeah, pullups/push ups/dips/bodyweight squats.

yeah, pyramid pushups. A better version of those are doing shoulder presses after each one, so one push up, one shoulder press, two pushups, two shoulder presses, so on. But I don't do 10 twice, I hit 10 once and then go back down. I don't do them with weight though, the shoulder press, breaks up lactic buildup, so you wont get tired doing the same repetitive workout.

But yeah you're not gonna get disproportionate from doing 10 lb curls and squats

Ive been in the gym actively 5-7 days a week for over a year straight
My numbers smash ur numbers in any category or lift......
Thats not my style tho guy. Im not here to brag numbers to you.
Get a gym membership. Its 10 bucks a month for christ sake. Lol

Ok so can u fight? See that's the thing and I knew it would get confused my push-up count has more to do with my stamina and all my smoking tbh.
