You will be GRANTED ONE EXTENSION AS A TEAM throughout the Tourney. Any extension beyond the first will result in loss of votes.

first 3 bars of milk's hit for me, milk dud was a cool self np, kent more was cool, closer wrapped up the verse well

same thing as milk's verse, first 3 bars hit but what made it hit less was the back to back to back np's, took a way from the versatility, was feeling milkshake though and apple logo was creative, closer didn't hit for me

consistency was key and i just felt all the np's/misses is what decided the battle

Probably battle of the tourney so far here, props to both teams for bringing heat like a muhfucka, both were consistent with fresh bars or at least fresh flips to concepts, this really just came down to who got more quotes and I got MC with one more bar. Awesome battle though the end result should be pretty close either way. v/ MC

thought Kareem was a bit of a stretch and lines like the Ed Norton one were just to simple
milk's verse had a lot of the karaoke current disc board stuff, but was also more humorous and still relevant enough to hit.

Fuck this was a good battle. Battle of the tourney so far. I tried to break this down in so many ways....first it ended up being tied in quotables. Then I tried to pick out the really hard bars by bolding them. That ended up in a 2-2 tie as well. Then I went ahead and picked the bars that made me say "damn" and those were tied 1-1 as well. The deciding factor to me was that one verse was far more personal and direct, while the other had almost an incredible OD on nameplays. Most of the nameplays were slick, but I got sick of them after maybe the 3rd read, while the MC verse was still a good read. With that said, I gotta go Milk Chocolate with this one.

Okay so I had this scored 7-7 for wait let me check the team names okay wait it's a tie. Really nice battle with a bunch of hilarious shit. Since I have it tied I have to go by the lotb's. MC had 4 lotbs with some of the ones quoted being related to NC which I like. The Bey personals were roflz as always. AO had 3 lotbs BUT that Hooters bar was my absolute favorite out of all of the lotbs for both teams. Very creative and funny. The short and succinct writing really worked bc it was a bunch of jabs. I could probably swing the win in AO's favor just bc of that bar but that would be unfair to the other team. The lotbs stand at 4-3 MC so I'm going to stick with the consistency. I think if AO had a few more personals sprinkled in it would have been a different call.

5-1 Milk Chocolate

Milk Chocolate: You started slowly. I thought the opening three punches were worded without much emphasis. I guess the glaucoma concept was creative, but the other two lines felt really obvious, to the point that Beyond not having a friend was a joke made by Lars in that thread. So the first impressive punch came with the And1 line, by which point I was already getting a bit cold on your verse. Then you complimented Beyond, which was weird because that line would have worked fine without that. I liked the Milk Dud line to a degree, but most of this was bland. You're two of my favorite battlers, and last round you brought it. But here, this fell flat aside from two lines (And1 and Kent Moore). The wording was way off, too.

Alpha Omega: Paradigm molded his style to fit with Beyond, which was a good move. I'm still 99% sure Beyond wrote most of the first half. (My theory is he also wrote the closer and didn't write the Game of Death line.) But that's fine. The opening two nameplays were good, but "Chip in" didn't connect because I don't think I've ever heard that used as a euphemism for sex. The Game of Death reference was pretty cool, just known enough while still being obscure and original enough to overcome any doubts about the wordplay. The second half of the verse wasn't as strong. The Apple and Hooters lines were great concepts blown in wording. But the closer was really strong. And I think you had this battle before it, to be honest.
