TOPICAL KEYS TO GREATNESS
Welcome to the 1st Round
The Poison Solitude
15 minutes to write 10 lines
G'Luck and make it dope
Figurative
Genocide
I need to inspire
the other side of that gets visited often
the revelation. the fire. the inspiration. the process.
The hidden author in office writing impossibly posthumous.
A cryptic gothic. A carcass, carving out columns of nonsense.
scrap a page, leave crease. Toss it blank, beat the need.
Not a soul is in sight that may delight in a piece.
Smooth it out, feel the canvas. grooved, lumpy and damaged.
Try to finish. To manage. such an awfully laid habit.
Hope to lay a way in vain for posterity's gain
Not a damn day youll claim for your sanitys sake
door locked, knocked twice hoping someone responds
been talking to his demons so long he sees nothing but gods
reflections up and coming alive, drugs nd tourniquets cover the floor
loving the solitude, cause as a fucking child saw his mothers a whore
the reason why he hates his company for, cause all they do is neglect
a starved kid, when mah dukes an addict what typa' food you expect!?
oodles n noodles, some bread, malnourishment of the orphanage kind
better kick his fucking door down fore' the drugs nd evil forces combine
a sorcerors mind, high, thinking hes in the fucking matrix -hes pale...
cause they broke the door down and mouth to mouth resusitation has failed!

Geno wrote a story and didn't quite go "full gruesome/ gore", but had some. Flow was OK at best, some bars dope, other choppy.
Fig had more of a poetical take on his writing styles. Loved the word choice in explaining you writing on paper and why, the etchings and ink and the pointless jotting and crumbling of papers nobody will see.
Vote Figurtive for a more relatable verse to me personally

holy smokes I think you guys are better here than in the open mic :X!!
figurative was absolutely delightful, but I think I'm judging based on the topic, although figurative is a style similiar to mine where he veers and leaves it to the reader for assumptions, which is - awesome.
Genocide had a bit of a story to tell, picking up particularly weary in some places, awesome 'flow' as well' "been talking to demons so long" very coool!! sigh so hard to choose, so little time
i'll have to choose figurative! Such good writers you too, hmph
