7.62 x 39 rounds is not ammunition for the current issued rifles for U.S Troops. 223/5.56
7.62 is a Russian round most notably found in the AK, again not standard issue
what do they need those for?
not to mention all the .45 rounds they bought up, again...not standard issue ammunition for service weapon.
Chyeahhh!!!

now in light of the recent announcement for us arming the Syrian rebels, the 7.62 russian round is prominent in that region no doubt, so maybe that is what it's for. But the huge .45 purchase they made rocked a little people 2011-2012 and had alot of folks scratching there heads as to why? Depleting the civilian market for ammunition? I can't found a 9mm or a 40 round to save my life anywhere locally....no pun intended.

I agree with the gorgeous women above me. Shake my head at the senseless senses of these censoring cent slinging sentence sending separatists. I'd love to send them several sections of stenciled census segments... Yeah I said it.

Some, very minimal, and not standard issue though. You know weights and shit, I know guns. Trust me you don't wanna have this discussion.

that's the 51. There are sub standards for the 7.62 round, the 39, and 51, and the 54. The order specifies 39 which is for the AK, SKS, and a few other less notable Russian rifles.

dude that order calls for over 3 million rounds of ammunition that isn't even for standard issue military hardware lmao come on now
Chyeahhh!!!
07-26-2013, 02:47 PM
the civilian market is the highest consumer for that round and the rifles that use them in the U.S. Otherwise, dudes in the middleast are pretty much born with an ak attached to there arm lol..consumer standards speaking of course

That's all very interesting, and I concede two things 1) I didn't and probably won't read the link and 2) you know more about weapons than me.
I will counter with this;
Nothing will come of this, you are wasting your life on bullshit, and your self serious apocalyptic postings make me laugh. Keep up the good work.

which they don't, don't require one. Now if these rounds are indeed for the the Syrian opposition, then they would need to be transported to the Military by the contractor, the contractor is the middle man though, so why would they use a middle man when the military can just go direct and airdrop the shit too the Syrian opposition? Doesn't make sense

you know not of what you speak as far as what I do in keeping myself conditioned. I watched Zombieland too yah know lol. As far as speaking on things that I don't know about I usually do less talking/typing and take in, which is the opposite of what you did in this thread. So if it's witts you wish to match..we can do that elsewhere, but I'm done speaking to you on this subject unless you in fact do know or contribute something worthwhile on said topic.

i'm not, i don't know i've never used one but they are probaby pretty light i imagine because of the materials used to make them. i've used an ak before tho and those are SURPRISINGLY not heavy like at all. you can easily fire an ak with one hand on semi

Have the hungarian amd, prolly the lightest one I've ever owned. It's done fine by me. I really want an underfolder though, BADDDDD! Been looking at the Yugo but they don't come chromelined which is a no no for me. Corrosive ammo is plenty and cheap and I buy a shit ton when I can find it lol
wordd how easy is it to clean? lol i hate cleaning so i try not to use the surplus/corrosive ammo too much. 762s are still fairly cheap tho. i'm thinking a Saiga 12 for my next baby
Chyeahhh!!!
07-26-2013, 04:46 PM
easy as pie. Breakdown is standard for the ak except the gas and rod mechanism. It's shorter than most but it doesn't make it any more difficult. I've made a few changes to it for better ease of user, went the heavy quad picatanny route but it gave it too much forward weight. Took that junk off lol. kept it stock with the exception of a Hogue grip, custom cheek riser/weld, and a magwell enhancer for smoother mag switch transitions. I didn't even bother to put a recoil reducer in there, used to be a fan of them but I think they wear out the recoil springs. The AK to me is like the 1911, fuck with it too much and you mess up a brilliant design lol

who said anything about attacking us? lol sounds like you're going off the deepend there bucko.
why are they using a contractor/middle man though instead of just doing it directly since they've already come out and publically stated that they were going to arm them? Doesn't make since. Saves money and time by just doing it directly, and air dropping it rather than hire a sub military contractor to do it, who doesn't even have an exports license (that should be the dead giveaway right there lol)
