they turn colors when they're used up so you know when to switch them out

they won't turn back any yellowing that's already happened but, it stops it from getting worse

I saw the glows and the fear 4s in person today...
The glows were 300 and the fear 4s were 450...
The glows look sick in person, way better than the fear joints...

They dropped in 88.. and they've sat deadstock for 25 years they will definitely crumble. sitting DS for too long will make any shoe crumble. Shoes from the early 2000s can crack/crumble if they haven't been at least lightly worn, semi regularly.

It's a dope collection piece/display pair, but I wouldn't put my feet in it. If it's shrink wrapped, I wouldn't even unwrap it tbh.

You could cop a pair tomorrow, and have it sole swapped though.

First time they retro'ed it was 2007 with black elephant and jumpman on the back

This is the 2nd retro and it's basically identical to the 2007

if it's the 07, the sole shouldn't crumble, but the paint on the midsole might crack.. but from what I hear, most the 3s released in the past couple years start getting cracks in the paint after a handful of wears anyway :(
