You must vote on at least 3 other battles, for every absent vote, you will be deducted one vote next week.

Voting ends Sunday at 11:59 Pacific Daylight/Standard Time.
If you no-show, you will be removed from next week and have to sign back into the league.

Sometimes when you get high you kill people

It was fall when we moved into the house
The leaves from the trees gave us a red ground
As a foundation, I should have took it as an omen
But I lost attention when the moving trucks rode in.
The house, old and grey from the piles of dust
The air so thick, it stunk sick, the aroma robust
It felt empty, in a room full of furniture I thought?
Once again I’m deterred; “where’s the tape we bought?”
I don’t know I said…check the boxes with the rest of our shit
“did I do something?”…no I’m sorry I don’t mean to be a prick
The move was hectic and I guess I’m a little stressed that’s it
“listen alex….just relax a bit I know your anxious
But I’m here for you…in absences of yours, I’ll be patience”
You’re so good to me
“I know, you should feel lucky”(smiles)

Later that night I was still up watching TV
I couldn’t sleep so I went down stairs and lit a little bit of weed
As i hit the blunt I start to here thumps n a couple bumps
I thought…man this some good shit definitely worth the cost
But I felt too lost and voices started ringing in my head
I couldn’t make out the chatter but it felt scattered and spread
Across my brain like an infection distorting my perception
They clamored for attention, they enamored my brain stem
(YOULL NEVER BE A FATHER!!!
ITS HER FAULT!!!!
KILL HER!!!)

IT WAS A REPETITION I COULDN’T RESIST IT WAS PERSISTANT
AND I GREW DISTANT IN AN INSTANT I BECAME CONVICTED
THAT’S WHEN I FELT A HAND I REACTED WITH CONFICTION
POUNDING THE GROUND LIKE AN INFANT WITH CONFLICTION

And as my vision cleared and the voices disappeared
I realized where my future had veered to
And as the scene set in I gave up and leered for a few
And then I wrote this for you.

Feel the wind, Hear the sound
Of the rain hitting the ground.
Fears here again, So much that you can taste it at last
As you see the thunder crash
So...
God damnit the Night's getting Darker, Ever since the Last Time I Saw Her
And now my Might's drifiting Farther, I'm just wondering what it's Like Bein A Father
But Now...
I wish I could tell ya but I don't know and that's the truth
Sometimes I Just feel like a failure and goin on has no use
I wish I could get out this trailer and kill my bastard roots
And Now...
I feel like half a recluse, I don't even remember why I'm mad at you

This is the only life we get, And you best believe I'd die for it
