Poem: The Meadows

[Mercy]

The vigorous essences it leaves
As the aroma infiltrates my senses
Forcefully closing my eyes...
My heart lifts, my soul grips it's essence
The birds chirp, the flowers bloom
A wave of warmth rushing towards me
It encapsulates my emotions
My mind informs me "you're free."
The clouds disperse for the shining sun
My life's begun..

I taste my first feeling of life.
