In hindsight, I should've just waited for night time
Bright shine in light eyes, I had visions of twilight
Moon shone over castle that I saw in my mind's eye
Royal blood, black horse accompanying a white knight
Right type of hero, the cavalry and crowds approved
Shadow puppets, the savagery of shrouds and feuds
No need for a philanthropy that clowns won't use
Words misplaced, sanctity just sounds obtuse
Nouns I'd use to describe their gritty choice of words
Heathens that reason without a voice or turf
Noise I've heard, stuck waiting for a choice to yearn
King of the Sea, now it's the bottomfeeding oyster's turn
No land to stand on, just a want, a need for standoffs
The lead of a vast cause, although greeds a grand cost
Seen what the man's lost, stuck to letters encased
No signature at the bottom, but the header's engraved
Beggars exclaimed, though I saw through a poor man's eyes
Compassions floating on a vessel waiting to capsize
