Giddyup, boy...

Oppressive sunlight. Wanderer in search of crystal clout.
Spurs dig, the horse bucks and his pistol's out
Apex - his spirit battles with abysmal doubts
and the mocking horizon shakes in this dismal drought.
It stirred him. The transience of molten lust in her eyes
badass mien, hiding oceans of justice inside
combustible pride. July, such a suitable birth
Moonlit chasm: apogee of Luna and Earth
El Paso outskirts - cowboy hub where violence'll bloom
Hoes, money, gunslingers and...the Silent Saloon.
He walks in, face dirt-streaked - the mileage of dunes
searching for fire and more treasure than Midas' bloom
It might've been noon. Goons listened to spiraling tunes
existential fuckery, Sartre dialing Camus...
whoever said that only Neo's bending time with a spoon?
She was there - corsetted dress in a set of swell blue
the most beautiful lass he'd ever seen - Jezebel Sue
alone at the bar with whiskey sour and ice in her mouth
dark hair and a pair of exotic eyes from the South
Time froze...
she held his gaze under the guise of a pout.
No doubts. Just ruptured lust hiding demons inside
Mars raising his regal head and casting Venus aside
arched backs, a strange land, belted ammo of lead
Rendezvoused every day until their shadows had fled
but one noon the doors creaked and brought an ominous breeze
Proprietor - that giant of a man, Johnny McGee.
Veins bulged from his one arm so oddly diseased
slow strut, the floors creak and there's a pause in his steez
chatter dies. Eyes narrowed above the scar on his cheek
when ol' Johnny saw Sue sit at the bar with a geek
"Listen here, cowboy - Johnny growls a modest demand:
a duel for the girl, cause I'm the fastest shot in the land."
She turned - "NO, John-..." glaring with dark wolves eyes
so Johnny McGee shot her in the heart, bullseye.
smile of sinister yellow: "Well you should've kept it casual, friend"
he dropped his gun and was never seen in El Paso again.

Oppresive light. Riding under the tawny and bleak sun
searching for the dull echo of Johnny McGee's gun.
