Mistakes
So this is a real deep piece, obviously the meanings might be lost on some people but it meant somethin' real to me at the time I wrote it. Just about change, tryina be better. Tryina move away from old things.
An omission of wisdom is frightful as time is envisioned, The hype of the mission while the plight of life is permitted But the chains of remission are voluntary for liftin’, As time is my witness to my mind ‘s evolving condition. It’s highly explicit what lies I permitted, Time is my witness in decisions I live with, Hatin’ was business and I rightfully missed that, I’m Tied to this trial in the mindful heights of this spirit. There once was a prison now the bars are omitted, Limitless wisdom through the ages that fits with, Fullness in reprise that the blindness resisted, I say ‘Reshape me in this life so I fit like a brick did!’, Wishful to be true, I’m just fighting to lose, In the night with these strikes of lightning shining their moods, Trifling broods, well they try to spite me with hue, Designing their moves so they hit me right when I’m blue, But It’s alright I’m confused cause I’m the type to be moved, All will be right come the might of enlightening truth, So while I’m amused with little life as my muse, I try to refute what is bent to try to refuse, With benefits due for my kind and minding my cruel, The point of diffuse is the death in this life that I’m due, The fallacies rule so they’re happy masked up as fools, Half of these dudes with haphazard blasphemous rules, But Ima be Cleaner than snow and humbler than grass that grows, Fumbling past the thorns that havoc just has to sew, Grumbling blasts of pasts will fastly be cast and remissed, When the mind comes to pass all of the damage it missed. |
