Title: "Ghost Town"
Ghost Town. i've been there. i walked through the pile of debris smiling wryly seeing abandoned concrete buildings smiling back at me like they were trying their utmost to forget the tragedy man, try this try staring at yellow walls, consisting of what used to be white bricks try to realize what the effect of time is then surrender to the thought there's no knowing it all stare in awe at a mysterious hole in the wall looking like someone knew his luck, blew it up, and escaped this makeshift graveyard imagine it, there could've been preparations all day today the created illusion of utopia, a farce, carefully preparing their May Parade you've seen pictures of people harvesting seeds walk around in reality for a change it's so hard to believe i tried to face it have you ever seen a man-made landscape simply testifying to the fact that man can't plan fate? it's simple, strolling slowly, seeing silly stop signs still, at least something succeeded to stop time i've seen snow on leaves, so spooky it's like i've seen ghosts, i feel i know more but nature hid the answers now nothing's visible no more or have you ever seen a tree growing through a stone floor? an eerie scene, which seems like something greater than us took paint, and a brush - finishing this dripping clock scenery only to wake up with a shock and know that this is all part of our system and you sit in fear as truth hits the ears with such a deafening silence it makes it hard to listen i've been there. chernobyl has forever scarred my vision. |
