not that it matters. you posting 7 days before the deadline makes you no better than the guy who posted 1 minute before the deadline. you were both on time.

On a less tiring note, 30 out of 32 writers showed and all but two matches are open for votes. Nice turnout by everyone, exceeded my expectations.

I had mine ready on time but the site was down. I emailed it to pent just in case since my brother's wife gave birth.

I wasn't aware there was a line limit, just chopped off the first four lines so it should be all good now. Not trying to break any rules, just a weird night last night.

In journalism, I've had major system errors at deadline before. One question no one has ever asked: Why didn't you send your pages in earlier? It's a deadline. You get until the deadline to write. I don't get why that would cause any consternation. Diode and oats both were able to prove they had their verses on time in other methods (through e-mails and Project RHYME), too, so then it really makes no sense to take out frustration about a shitty server on writers who are trying to make this tournament good.
