I hope you're wrong, too. It's much easier to catch PL games in the States than it is for Liga matches, but I'm completely ignorant to the FFP rules. I assumed that teams like United would have enough cash around to bring him back though, especially since he's 30 now, right?

And apparently he plans to come to MLS in a couple years. That should be cool because it'd give me a reason to watch MLS lol

FFP basically means teams can no longer spend beyond their means, they can not record losses over a certain amount. So the days of teams throwing money they don't have at players is gone. Only United, City, and Chelsea could afford him but they would have to sell an unrealistic number of players to do so.
