Lama never had a proxy scanner. He would manually go through every registered account and ban unresolvable IPs or suspicious TLDs. Lama was not very technically inclined.

I did (and still do) have a version of our HTACCESS that will automatically filter out proxies - used it to keep Masaii away for months before disabling it at a few members' requests.

@Junto im talking about enabling security vulnerabilities on the site. if someone wanted to there are a lot of malicious things you can do if you have the ability to run javascript on the site. allowing users to run their own code is one of the most dangerous exploits.
