Not everybody takes every day of the whole week thinking / writing for the verse.

Me, for example, haven't read Budda's verse, and I also haven't written for it. I'm just waiting for an idea to hit me and I'll sit down & write it.

You act like an extra 24 hours, gives the person an extra 24 hours.

Eh, I think that's pretty much why people get extensions, cuz shit in life happens- But then, maybe you are right. There has to be some people out there that want more time to write more lines / make a better verse.

Why would you need extensions? You got like 4-5 days to write. Should be more than enough. If you suddenly need an extra day to write some shit it's more about your inability to come up with ideas than anything else, and if life happens then maybe you should have started to write earlier in case of shit like that? I didn't think I'd be able to post either due to things coming up so I sent Innovator a PM that I might no-show a couple days ago and told him I'd give him a heads up when/if I started to write to be fair with him. Sure, that extra extension helped me A LOT but ultimately it was my fault for not starting to write earlier and having shit set that caused it, not the league or anyone else. Plus half the battles end up being extended when it's allowed so I get why they won't allow it for a smoother run of the league.

The key is to agree on a line limit when it comes to topicals
anyone can write 40 lines and easily beat someone writing 20 because they have a fleshed out story
if you know your opponent is known for writing long verses you should be already prepared
Normally if a line limit isn't agreed upon just hope you have the better verse.
its not that hard. I only take extensions because I'm still processing my plot usually.
if I don't have enough time my lines are usually stretched out or don't go with the picture ....yet.
I made it the finals of the Martyr league keying
mostly my only acceptable longer verses were in battles with Pent & Unborn.
I know both like to write long so I adapted to what they would do.

Because I've read feedback from you before in projectrhyme for me and others, and a lot of times it seems as if you parrot others voters opinions, more so than your own. Short votes are fine, as long as they actually convey a valid criticism. Quality over quantity, unfortunately, your votes don't contain either one.
