Not really. If you define life as viable outside of the body, which aborted fetuses certainly aren’t. Like they legit are clumps of cells at that point and speaking as someone who went through a miscarriage, it’s literally the same thing. And I don’t consider either the loss of a life. The loss of a potential life, sure, but not the loss of a life. So not death, and not murder.

but its killing a life for sure. i mean but its all semantics and where people want to draw a line. im sure you'd think different if it was 8 months in the womb, even though it still doesn't "exist" yet
like i'd feel zero guilt having a chick take a plan b but as soon as there is a confirmed pregnancy i'd feel like we killed a life cuz the shit was seeded

I’d never advocate for someone to have an abortion over the alternatives but people deserve the right to decide what they believe about it and what works best for them. If you are truly pro life you’re not going to be for people bringing a bunch of unwanted children into the world that they then abuse and treat like shit.

look into the difference between a cell and an organism friend.
the moment there is a zygote it behaves as an organism, every single form of growth is initiated by the new unique cells created by the mixing of the sperm and the egg, from blocking other sperm from attaching, to creating its organs etc.
its not a collection of human cells. its a new human organism growing into a human.
a baby isn't a rocket scientist, and a zygote isn't a baby. but its an independent life form of its own. its more of a parasite than anything else. but its an independent life in terms of science doggie

agreed 100 percent
its not my decision to make for others. and im a hypocrite as well, because i think someone who kills an actual baby should be put in prison. so i place more value on a human life that exists outside of a woman much more. and on the same side of the coin if a man murders a pregnant woman i don't have a problem with him getting charged with 2 murders. but thats more because it wasn't his decision for that life to enter the world or not.

naw. The only reason people feel pain is because of their brain, there are people with neurological malfunctions that cause them to not even feel pain, so you could shoot/stab them and they won’t even notice. That poses the question “is it still unethical to hurt them?” And I say ‘yes’ because there’s still the effect of the wound and the effect of possibly dying, and regardless of whether they feel pain, they may still want to have their life, they will still deal with all the physical ramifications of being hurt. Why do they want life? Because their brain tells them to. Why do they deal with those ramifications? Because their brain processes their existence and distresss associated with them. It’s a biological imperative that developed through thousands of years of evolution where people fear death and want life. Which makes sense, because any species that didn’t would’ve already died out.
But to ultimately understand that the only reason humans desire life/fear death is because neurologically they’re preconditioned to is the key. A baby that hasn’t formed a brain or who isn’t cognizant of their existence can’t desire life or fear death, they’re nothing but an inanimate object.
Saying life begins at conception is stupid af. Life only begins when a baby can neurologically process it, which means that a baby being forced into an impoverished home that can’t sustain a baby becomes unethical the moment it’s born. It’s essentially saying “we’re going to destroy this inanimate object” vs. “we’re going to force this cognizant human being to live their entire life in a home where they’re not wanted”. Option B is unequivocally the unethical one
But the more important issue brings us back to the trolley problem. The world is overpopulated, and we can disagree on the timespan but you’re ignorant if you don’t acknowledge that the expansion of humans threatens the entire human race, and anyone who condones families having 4+ children are choosing to kill the 5 over the 1.
Now sure, there are more elegant ways to implement birth control but nobody on the religious side of that fence are proposing those ideals

they are "living"
but they aren't organisms, they're cells. if you created a perfect enviornment for sperm to thrive in, they'd just die out, because they cant reproduce on their own. its just a fancy cell basically, their purpose is to move your genetic material into an egg, like how white blood cells move to fight illnesses/infections etc

Take away the deep fakes aspect that you’re in denial of though and just in general. You’re supporting a slow process to eventually taking a life that might be innocent and if they are guilty, putting someone out of their misery. Just seems like a bad idea from all angles. I’m sure it’s emotionally motivated for most people, cus no one wants murderers and rapist around. Just sad people are more about their own protection and safety than that of others to such an extent they support mass genocide and hangings yet think we live in a new civil world that others are denying as worth the progress.

I'm not gaslighting a goddamned thing - deepfakes aren't even remotely close to the level where the average podunk police department is out there providing false evidence via doctored video. You know how machine learning works Mr. Post-Grad. It needs data to work. High quality data. Which also says nothing of audio, which is even further behind/implausible for the average criminal. Nor can they "plant dna evidence" that would survive a trial and rounds of appeals. Fact. Fact, fact, fact.
So yes, dear Knucklehead, if a perpetrator is 100% undoubtedly caught on camera or in person or hell, pleads guilty with no question about whatever act worthy of death they committed, I am for execution.

Ugh
These are the post I used to fight you on, but I like getting along with you. I know you don’t mean to be overly egotistical it’s just your daily mindset to sell sell sell
That’s not how most states (if any?) handle the death penalty though. General convictions with evidence that can and has been wrong go into it too. It’s also a lot of money invested. I’d rather have them in gen pop and more likely to have a worse time and maybe even get got on the prisoners dime.

Surprised by all the support for the death penalty
Seems to go hand in hand with support for mass genocide too so I guess people really just don’t value life that isn’t theirs
out of curiosity, what's your position on animal life/meat. Not gonna start a debate from this, just wondering.

That wasn't the question re: death penalty though. It was just the concept. Since there are circumstances in which I am in favor, I couldn't in good conscience mark "no"

Yea i said yes to the death penalty under the presumption of how it should work. Like you fucked a kid? Hang them. Now. You dont get to sit in death row etc etc.
But im not for prison at all, it needs completely reformed. If you commit a crime you should go to basically a halfway house with job skill training etc. So you got a curfew etc like probation/house arrest but you arent locked in a cell doing nothing
And if the crime you committed is too heinous for that situation to make sense, hang them. Ropes are cheap and reusable, spend half the prison money on job training bing bang boom

I’ve been actively eating less meat, and what I do eat is free range and grass fed that’s raised by family members
Personally I couldnt give a fuck about human life.
So.. hearing about mass-killings, natural disasters, poverty...etc..
I dont care, the more morons die the better.
We are a desacration on this planet and should be punished

So is the planet valuable intrinsically but human life isn’t? Or is existence in over-abundance taking away are personhood without us being responsible? Aren’t more people dying in America than are being born? This raises allot of questions.

I mean you’re an unemployed alcoholic faggot so makes sense you don’t care about life if your own isn’t valuable to you

Plot I've lived in Australia for almost 18 years, I know there are legalized brothels here & altho I'm American I can't comment on what's happenin' in the States as I honestly don't know how things work in that regard as I haven't been back in almost two decades bro...
& I'm all for the death penalty when it's comes to rape, child molestation, terror related crimes etc. hence why I said yes to that question.
