AOWL Season IV, Week 3

OFFICIAL RULES:
Verses are due Thursday Oct 30th, extenstion to ALL, Halloween the 31st., 11:59p.m. PCT/2:59a.m. EST/7:59a.m. UK. There are NO extensions.

Verses MUST be a minimum 10 lines or a maximum of 48 lines (or 650 words).

Votes are due Sunday, November 2nd, 11:59p.m. PCT/2:59a.m. EST/7:59a.m. UK. Failure to vote will result in automatic sign out for the next week.

A fresh pair of knuckles were what Dan's face had been washed with.
The thief searched through pockets around his waist for a wallet.
Dan was dazed and abolished. This was his first day at a college.
Made to be shoplift, problems wore him in, so he prayed that he'd solve it.
The suspect made a deposit to his dealer and OD'ed that night.
Fate had acknowledged karma's hand to hand, exchanging codeine for life.
Every step or breath he took, he felt that someone was watching him.
A fuck up or not, he needed to at least feel like an accomplished sin.
He acknowledged this, fell in love with the idea that Crimea holds the keys.
Such an honest, private group of polished scholars from overseas,
some say they're czarists, yet anything new to Dan is sold to keep.
Calmer, he spoke of peace. With a finger they notioned East.
Told him not to give up and to always let his emotions breathe,
that there's more to life than living roles of a hopeless teen.
He thought he could help these 'terrorists' gain traction in the war,
even when his country's preparing these fascists a detour.
Studied and trained for hours, came in contact with a reigning power.
Devoured his last american meal before he bathed and showered.
When Dan went to the airport to leave, he was snagged on the sleeve.
A man in a suit said, "Please, come with me so the masses can breathe."
So for exactly three weeks, his whole life had been followed and recorded.
Never meant to do no harm, just felt his pride grow hollow and extorted.
The reports read that he was charged with conspiracy and false documents.
As his defense attorney, he just lacked civil coherency and lost his prominence.
Also, I just wanted to say that...
He lived as the elephant in a white room with miniature black curtains.
Spent many days drinking some Jim Bean signature craft bourbon.
