I guess I would break it down to

US flag
Pretty clean all things considered, wording could've been harsher but the concept behind it was pretty nice
Prop 17
pretty funny, well worded. I basically thought of it as a generic since it was your own name being flipped

vs

Saving Grace
Pretty well thought out, easily strongest line of your verse and lotb contender

Sugar hi/Mal content
The two were both almosts to me... Nice concepts that just didn't really connect, either thanks to the construction of the bar or a lack of relating to the WP to the punch


This was pretty close, but it did end up 2-1 in quotes so I edge it to Malachi. Probably would've given it to Utmost if Sugar hi or Mal content was a little cleaner, but they ended up leaving some to be desired. Nice battle guys.

This was probably the best line of the match. I think the verses need to be a bit more even and the end rhymes need work. However, the opener and closer both hit pretty hard. It warrants a second look sometimes to where you're headed with the punches. The concepts were on point and the personals were well illustrated

I liked the personals and the meter and the rhyme. Again, these two verses are somewhat similar. I gotta give you props on trying to stretch as long as you did. The sloppy structure, with the use of heavy commas and periods in-verse, didn't work out. I think if the verses were rearranged they would flow a lot better.

These 2 was about equal, but Malachai started and closed better.

Malachi - I really wasnt feeling much other than the namix line and MAYBE the future of text just cause it was funny. I can see your improvement, but what you need to focus on is a combination of wording your punches/setups to make them more direct and also to try to expand the types of creative lines you make. Try something outside of your comfort zone. Try a complicated wordplay or a good metaphore or simile. Even if it doesnt work, you'll be better for it.

Utmost - You have a more creative approach here, but there is some tweaking needed as well. Your wording is a bit bland at times, but the concepts are there. I enjoyed the creampie line, lol'd at the Hush and God line and even the sugar high line wasnt too bad. Now what you need to focus on is the wording and maybe try to think more outside the box to get those crazy concepts noone has seen before.

Close battle, ut had some hits and misses, I liked his hits a lot and hated his misses. Mal content could have been so raw, but it lacked conviction. Hush/God punch was LOTB.

Mal was consistent, although his first 2 lines missed. Every other punch was pretty cleanly executed, no real haymakers but a steady flow of jabs.

Quotes are 3-3, and if Mal content had been just a tad better I would give this to utmost. As it stands tho, MVGT Mal

Didn't really feel either of the battlers verses. Seemed kinda generic ''I'm better than you and you suck because''-shit. There were moments in both of the particpants verses that I did like a little bit tho', the ''only time you'd be considered a star, US flag'' shit was allright I guess, and the ''Sugar, Hi .. Ritalin dose''-line was allright.

It was a close battle, for sure. And it's hard to pick a winner since both of you had about the same ammount of weaknesses and strengths.

Because of that it boils down to creativity for me and I think Utmost edges is there.
