and I''m a pen, so
hear what I'm sayin,
we used to make peeps envisage thrills
as writers with exquisite skills
used to use exquisite quills
to set the world of poetry in motion
their promotion made people take a notion
to learn to write and create
and demonstrate their every emotion
they say I was mightier than the sword
but these days I'm getting bored
because the days of writing letters have gone
out the window cuz society has moved on
technology now rules, people got cell phones and pagers
