Rules

Due Dates:

• Verses are due Tuesday,
  July 2nd, 2013 at 11:59 PM PST.
• Voting ends Friday July 5th at 11:59 PM PST.
• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are normally 24 hours
  (unless requested otherwise, that is),
  can be no longer than 36 hours
  and have to be granted by your opponent.

Line Limit:

• Min. = 10 lines
• Max. = 16 lines
• The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both.

Voting:

• Must vote on 5 battles and post your links.
• Post the links in the thread titled "Week 7 Voting Links".
• You will be punished if you don't post all 5 voting links.
  You will not like the punishment, so just vote so you
  don't have to cry later. Details about this are to be
  found in the "Week 7 Voting Links" thread.

General Rules:

• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
  linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
  means you will disqualified.
• A check in isn't mandatory, but it is encouraged.
• If your opponent doesn't check in,
  you still have to post a verse.
• Competitors should agree on a line limit in their check in.
• If no line limit is agreed on, then the 2nd person to post
  must match the 1st person's line amount.

Got Sharp with more quotes + I was being generous with Bobs...Seen him do a lot better, sharps was a good drop, not quite to the champ level I was expecting but then in the end it was enough...

Sharp easily takes this with a more clean and all around more stronger verse ... The non issue, flo real and 09 flip was nice.

a little weakish for a championship bout. Equal amount of quotes for both. Liked Bob's better. Also thought his misses had better concepts. The 09 concept was dope but the wording wasnt executed right imo. Also i think people are missing it lol. Oh well, arrested development line is lost on me, lo ki line was decent. Bobs commercial success line was executed in a different direction than i thought it would be, other wise i would have quoted it. Drawn out relationships could have been dope, and didnt know where u were going with the europe line... Im american... so whatever. Anyway, i think Bobs hits were stronger and both had about = misses.

bobs 1st or 2nd bar would have been lotb, probably the 2nd bar. overall his misses weren't awful because I was still feeling the concept. sharp's bars just didn't hit imo, he had a few decent shots but overall I have bob taking this w/ more hits/better concepts & the lotb.

neither were steller, tho i think bob had better concepts and wording overall, sharp had sum that landed but a few of the concepts were just too obv or boring to me, was close i def get the split in votes but for me i preffered bobs style to sharps here, stay up faggits.

i dunno this was pretty lackluster on both ends.. i barely quoted the lo ki bar from sharp but i would feel like a dick for not giving him something.. concept wise is what took this for bob. execution and wording were pretty staggered on both ends but bob still had a better grasp which made for a more enjoyable read.
